This is the world’s easiest dessert. To make the granite, all you have to do is pour a couple of cans of good quality fruit soda into a shallow dish and set it in the freezer. You stir it with a fork every half hour or so until it crystallizes, and then it keeps for days in this shaved-ice state until you’re ready to serve it. Slice up some fresh fruit and voila! A tasty and refreshing little treat to enjoy at the end of a summer supper.
