To prepare the dishes I've chosen for my 'Wedding Banquet' Taiwanese dinner, I'm going to need my crock pot for the San Pei Chicken, my electric rice cooker, a wok for the stir-fry dishes, a skillet for deep frying, and a large kettle for smoking the game hen, which should be quite an interesting experiment. Other than those appliances and pans, my garden variety kitchenware should get the job done. That's the beauty of Asian food...maximum results with minimum fuss.
