Swiss Chard Dolmas
This Month's Film: The Color of Paradise
Cuisine: Middle Eastern
This tasty side dish is a variation on the classic dolmas, in that the herbed rice is wrapped in leaves of Swiss chard instead of traditional grape leaves. The chard holds up well throughout the blanching, wrapping and baking process. I filled my Swiss chard leaves with long grain rice seasoned with dill and red wine vinegar. Dill-licious!
