This Month's Film: Imelda: Power, Myth, Illusion
Christmas Eve was spent in the kitchen with my son Will. The menu included shrimp cocktail, French onion soup, butter lettuce salad with feta and walnuts, grilled rib-eye steaks with sauteed mushrooms, and asparagus with hollandaise. A tasty success, but after all that, we were much too full for dessert. So the Iced Melon to complete my Philippine menu will have to wait for another day.
