One of my favorite Asian desserts is fresh seasonal fruit marinated in rice wine. I often use Japanese sake, sweetened with a little sugar. But this time, I chose to use a Chinese rice wine called Xiaoshing, which is much deeper and more spicy than Japanese sake. The effect is differently delicious.
