Banana Custard Crumble
This Month's Film: Nang Nak
I made a similar dish with apricots for my Raffles Hotel menu last month and wanted to try it with bananas for my Thai menu this time. Such satisfying results for so little time and effort. The basic custard comes together in less than 10 minutes, then a quick topping of sliced fruit, sprinkled with a basic crumble. 20 minutes in the oven and voila! Dessert. I could barely wait for it to cool.
