The traditional Japanese tempura dinner usually consists of a generous piece of mild fish, a large prawn, and an assortment of vegetables including mushroom, onion, pepper, yam, and shiso leaf, fried in a light and lacy batter, served with tentsuyu sauce made of dashi and soy sauce with grated ginger and daikon radish. For my Australian-Asian Fusion tempura, I'm going to be using the same basic ingredients, with the exception of the fish, which will be substituted with Mahi-Mahi instead.
