This Month's Film: The Cave of the Yellow Dog
I know it's a bit early, but this week, while waiting for Imperial Mongolian Cooking: Recipes from the Kingdoms of Genghis Khan by Marc Cramer to arrive in the mail, I've been working on a Kwanzaa menu for a food writing assignment for a magazine in Macon, Georgia. That's because the magazine has to go into production a month early. With work of this kind, I often find myself making Halloween treats in August, Thanksgiving in September and Christmas in October. And thus...a very early Kwanzaa dinner.
