Serving Dishes for a Sri Lankan Meal

This Month's Film: The Bridge on the River Kwai
Cuisine: Sri Lankan

I think of Sri Lanka as a very colorful culture, with lots of tropical influences and I want to reflect that in the dishes I choose for serving the various items on my menu. With all the turmeric and chili peppers, the food itself is colorful, so I want to serve it on colorful plates and dishes as well. Fortunately, I have a whole closet full of serving dishes nearly every style imaginable, from sleek to rustic, with many styles and pattern in between. So I should have no trouble choosing just the right one for each item on my Sri Lankan menu.
