A Refreshing Accompaniment for a Curry Meal
This Month's Film: The Bridge on the River Kwai
Cuisine: Sri Lankan
Whenever I make curry, I always crave this cooling little side dish. It's nothing more than a fresh cucumber, a fresh tomato, both coarsely chopped and then tossed in a cup of plain yogurt. It cools the fire of the curry spices in a unique way, and if there's any left the next day, it makes an excellent breakfast.
The recipe will be posted at the end of the month along with my 'Bridge on the River Kwai' film review.
