This Month's Film: A Passage to India

Daal is the term for any kind of Indian bean or lentil dish, and this daal has a little of everything: kidney beans, chickpeas, and lentils. It also includes onions, tomatoes, green chili peppers, garlic, and ginger. An amazingly simple yet satisfying dish.
