This Week's Film: Fire
In September, 2006, I reviewed Ajanta: Regional Feasts of India, a cookbook by restaurateur Lachu Moorjani, and featured recipes from his Bengali Feast on Chopstick Cinema. One of the dishes was Machi Rai Masala (Catfish in Mustard Sauce, pictured), and it turned out so beautifully that I’ve decided to create my own version of the dish to go with this month’s film. In the process, I will be making significant changes to the original recipe and posting the results at the end of the week, along with my Fire film review.
