Where does one even begin to understand, much less describe the cuisine of Hong Kong? From dim sum and dai pai dong (street food), to five-star dinners in the rarefied air high above the din of cart vendors on the bustling streets below, Hong Kong is the epicenter of eclectic Asian Cuisine.
Cantonese influence is strong, but no more so than the constant influx of the latest international trends. A bounty of fresh seafood is available in the Lei Yue Mun Seafood Village and may even be purchased fresh off the boat and carried to your favorite restaurant, where you can have it prepared to order. When it comes to Hong Kong cuisine… anything goes.
