Deciding on This Week’s Korean Dish
This Week's Film: Treeless Mountain
In my recipe repertoire I have a really tasty collection of Korean dishes. And as I browse through them, I find myself craving Korean food. Whether fried or steamed, I love tofu & kimchi-filled mandu dumplings, and kim bap, Korea’s hearty rendition of sushimaki. Spicy Korean-style noodles are always so tempting, and of course bulgogi barbeque, Korea’s national dish makes me want to fire up the grill.
But it’s harvest time with its bounty of fresh vegetables, and it’s been so hot all week that I’m in the mood for something light and easy. So I think I’m going to go with a batch of pajun pancakes to satisfy my cravings for a taste of Korea.
