In my search for Korean curry recipes, the ones I found unapologetically call for commercially-packaged curry paste, which comes in darkly concentrated blocks that look almost like chocolate. But I did manage to find a couple of recipes for Korean curry made from scratch. And since this is my first foray into Korean curry, those are the ones I’m going to use as my guide.

The one I like best calls for lots of garden vegetables, and since beef is so popular in Korea, I will be using it as the main ingredient. My curry recipe will be posted at the end of the week along with my film review.
