About Japanese Curry

This Week's Film: Riding Alone for Thousands of Miles (Redux)
Cuisine: Japanese Curry

Of all the wonderful dishes in the spectrum of Japanese cuisine, curry is somewhat of an oddity. Generally speaking, curry is not a native dish, moreover, it is typically made from a packaged mix rather than with a from-scratch curry paste. The unfortunate thing is that the packaged mixes, which look sort of like blocks of dark chocolate, are loaded with MSG, which I am sensitive to. But in my research, I did manage to find a from-scratch recipe that I’m going to adapt for my purposes.

My curry recipe will be posted at the end of the week along with my film review.
