Deciding on a Japanese Curry Dish
This Week's Film: Riding Alone for Thousands of Miles (Redux)
Cuisine: Japanese Curry
Japanese curry sauce is typically served in one of two ways: as a gravy for a meat and vegetable stew, or as a sauce for deep-fried meats or seafood served over steamed white rice. And since my son Will’s favorite dish is Katsu Kare, a deep-fried pork cutlet served with curry sauce, I’m going to be making my own adaptation of it for this weekend’s curry dish.
My curry recipe will be posted at the end of the week, along with my film review.
